Year 5

Greetings to all the parents of year 5 students! We have the honor to be entrusted the Year 5 for this academic year, 2010-2011.

Mr. Doods S. Domingo and Mr. Roy Lo will be Year 5 Homeroom Teacher. Mr. Doods whom a graduate of an Education degree major in English and have been in the teaching profession for almost 2 decades will be teaching Year 5 English and Mr. Roy who got a degree in Computer Science and have been teaching for almost 8 years will be teaching Mathematics and ICT.

We approach our teaching as a mission. Our diversified experience in our field has taught us so much  in terms of valuing human resources. Every child is a unique individual and that fact is enough reason for us to love this profession. Enabling our student to develop a respectable linguistic or competence is just one component of that crusade. Encouraging our students to develop a love of learning, a curiosity for their own and others’ cultures, as well as social awareness, plays an integral role in our approach. We hope that our lessons stimulate youngsters intellectually and creatively. Each day, the learning should come alive and students should walk away having added another understanding of the world.
